Owner FAQ — Quick Answers
The six questions JDN owners ask most.
What does JDN charge for property management?
Standard management is 7%. With the Sign & Save program, qualifying owners pay 6%.
When do I receive my owner statement?
Statements are generated monthly and posted to your owner portal, usually within the first week of the following month.
Do you mark up contractor invoices?
No. Vendor invoices are passed through to owners at cost — no hidden markups.
Do I need to approve every repair?
Repairs under your approval threshold are handled without delay. Larger work orders are sent to you for approval first.
What happens if a tenant doesn't pay rent?
JDN follows a structured arrears process — reminders, formal notices, and LTB filing where required.
Who is my main contact at JDN?
Most owners work directly with their assigned Property Manager, with support from Donna and our office team.
